Worth

Have you ever noticed that Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ferrari don’t run advertisement commercials like Toyota, Honda, Dodge, or Mazda? The purpose of advertisement is to sell the consumer on your product. Car commercials will bear everything from the MPG to the terms of the warranty just to sell you on it’s value. And, many times, we, as people, do the same thing. We will bear our soul to others just to convince them of our value. We’ll spend hours on our appearance, personality, and/or intellect just so we can showcase those qualities as a billboard with the subtitle that says “I’m worth it.” The only problem with that is when others don’t “buy” what you “sell,” you feel worthless. Because not only did you expose “all your value” just to be rejected, you also wore your heart on your sleeve. But, what if you didn’t have to broadcast your worth to everyone who crossed your path? What if you carried yourself in way that expressed your priceless value without bartering your soul. What if your very presence was “fully-loaded” with the wealth of your integrity? There would be no need for over-exposure, because your reputation would speak for you. You know why cars like Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ferrari don’t crowd the airways with ads? Because they don’t have to sell others on their worth; it’s built into their name…

When you truly love yourself, you realize that you don’t have to “sell” yourself. If others can’t see your worth, oh well! It doesn’t diminish your value. The average person is not use to interacting with an Ashton Martin. **G.I.G.**

P.S. – When you have a relationship with Jesus, you understand that your value is not vested in your looks, smarts, or performance. Your true value is actually revealed through your relationship with Jesus. You were so valuable to Him that when He lost you to sin, He gave up His own life to get you back. Think about that…Selah.
